May 2018: The Stock Market Bull Dominates
By Larry C. Paxton
The month of May was a lot less volatile than April, at least according to the numbers. With all kinds of geopolitical issues arising creating a lot of uncertainty, and US primary and general elections soon to be center stage, it would seem that volatility should increase. But the US and global economies are doing well, though there are concerns about national debt and employee wage growth is still not growing as much as anticipated. The bottom line is that at the end of the month the Stock Market Bull has won two months in a row and now leads the Stock Market Bear 3 months to 2 months so far in 2018.
